Our goal is for the Board to reflect the Austin therapy community’s diversity, and BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ therapists are strongly encouraged to apply.
LMFT licensure is not required. Mental health professionals of various licensures are welcome.

President-Elect
The President-elect shall be a Clinical Member or Associate with a reasonable expectation of completing Clinical Member status before completion of the one (1) year term. The President-elect shall serve a term of one (1) year and shall succeed to the office of President. In order to succeed in the President’s position, the President-elect must be a Clinical Member. In the absence of the President, the President-elect performs the duty of President, including running the Organization’s board meetings and events.
Program Director. The Program Director shall serve a term of two (2) years. The Program Director shall be responsible for the coordination of the Organization’s Continuing Education (CE) events, this includes selecting speakers, securing location, and submitting marketing materials to the Public Relations Director and Outreach Director for publication.
The Member-at-large shall serve a term of one (1) year. The Member-at-large’s duties and responsibilities are to support the Board of Directors where needed, tasks vary according to the needs of the Organization.
