Sarah Imparato is an LMFT that got licensed in TX but decided to move back to CA. In this process she learned the ethics and legalities of getting licensed in multiple states and extended this to the process with clients moving. With a transit lifestyle and people working from home etc it is time we think outside the box within legal and ethical issues. In this workshop you will learn the legal and ethics of an online practice and expanding it beyond your zip code.

Sarah works with individuals and couples who feel stuck, helping them develop the tools, strategies, and mindset needed to move forward. She is deeply passionate about creating a compassionate space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued, and brings a grounded, relational approach to her work.
Her clinical focus includes supporting clients in navigating relational dynamics, strengthening interpersonal connections, and cultivating a deeper understanding of themselves and others. She works collaboratively and draws from a variety of modalities to tailor treatment to each individual and relationship.
Sarah has experience across nonprofit settings, mental health clinics, and the public school system, giving her a well-rounded and integrative perspective. She is especially passionate about helping individuals and couples move beyond old patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that no longer serve them, and guiding them toward greater authenticity and relational health.
