    TOPIC

Maximizing Technology Assisted Services for Your Clients

    PRESENTER

    Rhiannon Beauregard, LMFT-S, CST, EAP-A, S-PSB

    PRESENTATION SUMMARY

You made it!  Your practice and clients have survived the transition to telehealth during these dangerous and unpredictable times.  It wasn't the smoothest transition, with systems glitching, internet being slow, audio not working, your computer deciding to update in the middle of a session, but it's October, and you have a better handle on the whole thing.   You might be starting to wonder if you should give up your office space for a fully online practice.  You're starting to notice that telehealth offers things your traditional in office practice didn't offer.  What about a home office?  What about more flexible hours?  What about clients scheduling themselves?   And clinically, you're seeing that telehealth is not just moving your in person practice online and could be a model of therapy in and of itself.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES
    • Participants will be able to identify three ways technology-assisted services can be utilized to maximize the clients experience of telehealth.
    • Participants will be able to list three ways their own therapeutic practice could be enhanced by resources related to technology-assisted services.
    • Participants will be able to recognize how online therapy could be considered a model of therapy in and of itself.
